Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald.
Because the shooting occurred over a year ago, David Axelrod had some questions:
Why did it take a year to indict a CPD officer who shot a kid 16 times? Would it have happened today if judge hadn't ordered video release?

The former Obama strategist was told where his questions should be directed:
You should ask the mayor of Chicago. You might have met him in the White House when you both worked there? https://t.co/70IloJaIPh

Maybe you should ask your buddy @RahmEmanuel, or any part of the Democratic machine that's run Chicago for decades. https://t.co/HWMU1VKpUE

Those might be good places to start.
.@davidaxelrod Ask your friend Rahm, who was running for re-election, and let us know.
