Hillary Clinton’s campaign is doing plenty of damage control after she commented to Rachel Maddow that the VA scandal isn’t “widespread” and that partisan Republicans have been blowing it out of proportion.
The Clinton campaign’s press secretary took to Twitter to keep the backpedaling going:
Hillary Clinton knows VA has serious problems that need fixing, she just refuses to go along w/ GOP's idea of privatization as way to do it.

But, that is not what she said,AT ALL.
I got problems w/ a candidate whose every utterance has to be interpreted. https://t.co/yAJtW26kqa— BayAreaFrau (@bayareahausfrau) October 28, 2015
If H "knows VA has serious problems" why would she say "it’s not been as widespread as it has been made out to be”? https://t.co/vEcRyJZ6wO

When will she say she was wrong and apologize? Or is the focus group not in yet? https://t.co/cQHYxqwWyy

When reality doesn’t cooperate, Team Hillary has shown that they’ll just attempt to re-write history.
