As we reported a couple days ago, “clock kid” Ahmed Mohamed was ‘overjoyed’ to meet with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir:

After Mohamed was arrested and suspended last month for bringing a homemade “clock” to school that looked suspiciously like a bomb, President Obama had invited Mohamed to to the White House.
In spite of being thrilled to, along with his family, meet with the Sudanese leader who is “wanted by the International Criminal Court for crimes in Darfur,” Mohamed’s visit with Obama is reportedly still on:

The White House has not announced any change of plans for Mohamed’s visit to an Astronomy Night event on Monday, according to Fox News.
