Longtime Clinton flack Lanny Davis is still doing his thing:
my column @HillaryClinton and the frenzy of the #media http://t.co/timojcgtsO @thehill
— Lanny Davis (@LannyDavis) June 4, 2015
Davis’s column opens with a quote from Tom Wolfe’s 1979 book “The Right Stuff” which described the “the media scrum at the home of Louise Shepard, wife of Alan Shepard, America’s first astronaut, who had just returned safely from a suborbital flight in space.”
Davis then asked in regards to Hillary Clinton, “has anything changed?”
Donna Brazile also promoted the piece:

Liz Cheney let Davis know that he has the wrong stuff:
You guys know @HillaryClinton is a candidate for President, right? Pretty sure Louise Shepard wasn't. #justsaying https://t.co/qBs5OcdtAw

Wait – Hillary's a victim? Helpless? She said she was a leader, ready to be Commander-in-Chief. I'm confused.http://t.co/4J01IunL2W

No comparison is too false for Davis.
