'Highest praise': Obama manages to make nomination of Julian Castro a story about himself

Today, President Obama announced the nomination of San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro to head the Department of Housing and Urban Development. As Washington Examiner’s Byron York noticed during the president’s few words about Castro’s past, Obama managed to find some similarities with you-know-who:

York reported that those in attendance knew that Obama was doing what he does best, which is talking about Obama:

The crowd in the White House State Dining Room got the joke and laughed along with the president. And for Republicans who have sometimes marveled at the president’s ability to make everything about himself — well, they probably laughed, too, but not for the same reasons.

Citizens were shocked—shocked—to find out that Obama turned somebody else’s story into a story about himself:
