Elijah Cummings helping Lois Lerner target conservatives? I think that qualifies as at least a "smidgen".

House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) has produced emails from 2012 showing Lois Lerner worked to accommodate requests from Rep. Elijah Cummings and committee Democrats by providing them information about True the Vote, a conservative 501(c)(4) organization subsequently singled out for IRS scrutiny:

Today I sent a letter to @RepCummings demanding an explanation for his staff's queries and why he denied such actions at a Feb hearing.

The #IRS emails raise concerns that the IRS improperly shared protected taxpayer info with @RepCummings' staff. #IRStargeting

Issa pointed to emails showing Lerner actively worked to accommodate Rep. Cummings staffers’ request for information about True the Vote:

Copies of the letter and emails are here.
In a subcommittee hearing this past February, Cummings denied his office or any other Democrats had contact with personnel at the IRS in regards to True the Vote:

Issa has now asked Cummings for an explanation.
Wonder why Democrats are so against investigating the IRS for targeting? Maybe because Democrats were helping http://t.co/PeWBWaFGrd #IRS
