'Ellen DeGeneres Show' producer: Why do conservatives need so many guns to fight gay marriage?

The hashtag #ThingsLiberalsJustDontGet is trending in the U.S., and there are a few attempted “hashtag hijacks” going on, as evidenced by the above tweet from Andy Lassner, producer of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Lassner then seemed to somewhat back off whatever point he was trying to make:

@andylassner The guns are to protect our lives and property. Not all of us are against gay marriage. We're not all bad! 🙂
