Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) obviously watched the end of the 49ers/Seahawks game when Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman went over-the-top during a post-game interview with Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews.
The senator might be looking to re-enact Sherman’s performance:
If we don't pass an unemployment benefits extension soon, I'm gonna go all Richard Sherman on the Republicans.

How very intimidated the Republicans must be!
Or maybe not:
Ehh. No RT @ChrisMurphyCT: If we don't pass an unemployment benefits extension soon, I'm gonna go all Richard Sherman on the Republicans.

You're a senator, right? Like…of an actual state…where people vote to give you a job? Wow. SMH. @ChrisMurphyCT

@ChrisMurphyCT Now would be a good time to stop tweeting and contact your PR people.

I don't think @ChrisMurphyCT or his comms team realize that equating your behavior to that of Richard Sherman is generally a bad thing.
