Senate cloture vote passes, ending debate on government funding bill.

There were many Republicans in the Senate who voted “yes” on the continuing resolution, which is essentially a vote against defunding Obamacare. Exceeding 60 votes means there will be no more debate on the spending bill.
Having gotten the 60 votes means that Harry Reid will now only need a simple majority of votes in order to put the funding for Obamacare back into the spending bill.
We will have updates as the story develops.
Updates:
Final vote was 79-19.
60 votes needed for cloture on funding bill reached; now question is how many Rs vote against it; now 19 nos, including Cruz, Paul, Rubio

Twenty-seven Republicans voted for cloture and against defunding Obamacare:
GOP split on cloture 19 against, 27 for (could have been 26; one senator didn't vote, don't know which side)

Every Republican that voted for cloture gave Harry Reid the ability to strip defunding mechanism out of CR
