Founder of eBay, Pierre Omidyar, refers to US Army Apache crew in Bradley Manning leaked video as war criminals

Founder and chairman of eBay, Pierre Omidyar, is referring to a video that was among the classified material leaked by Bradley Manning.

The video, from a 2007 incident in Baghdad, shows U.S. Army personnel firing from an Apache helicopter during an engagement that left 11 dead, including a Reuters photographer and his driver.

After the video Manning leaked had been made public, the Army released the results of an investigation that concluded the crew of the helicopter properly followed the rules of engagement, but Omidyar and some others continue to categorize the incident as a “war crime.”
