Seriously?
Yes, seriously.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson, having previously referred to Florida as an “apartheid state” following the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial, is working hard to re-create 1963.
Today, in Florida, Jackson compared Governor Rick Scott to segregationist George Wallace, former governor of Alabama (and, like Jackson, a Democrat we should note) who is remembered for this:
Alabama Gov. George Wallace, a Democrat, is greatly known for his notorious “Stand in the Schoolhouse Door,” when he physically blocked black students Vivian Malone and James Hood as they attempted to attend classes at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Just like Governor Rick Scott when he did nothing of the sort.
Comparing the two is a disgrace and a outrage RT @RevJJackson: They say Governor Scott cannot change, but George Wallace changed.

Governor Scott has demanded an apology, which Jackson also may try to link to George Wallace:
Florida Gov. Rick Scott is looking for an apology from the Rev. Jesse Jackson – but will he actually get one? http://t.co/IdShPeg33w

I stand with Gov. Rick Scott in demanding that @RevJJackson apologize for condemning & lying abt Florida. Jesse Jackson is the real racist!

We won’t hold our breath waiting for Jackson to apologize.
