It's been 10 years, three organization presidents and thousands of posts, but they finally did it. The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) finally couldn't take one more minute of my relentless corrections of their nonsense and they blocked me.
The HRC was one of the first big LGBT organizations that inspired me to dive into political correction activism. Their headlines always promised readers, and donors, a reality of hate, bigotry and violence that just didn't exist and I made sure to tell them so.
Although I honestly can't remember a time when they responded to any of my questions, challenges, corrections or articles, I never gave up the fight to make sure at least one comment on their thread was telling the truth.
They would eventually, under their third president in very few years, turn off replies on all their posts. That didn't dissuade me from quoting them, though. All this time I assumed they'd muted me. Apparently, I was wrong!
In what would be a fairly mild response, and the only quote they received on their post with 15 reposts, whomever runs the account just couldn't take it any longer.

Last year, we joined partner organizations in calling on @WhiteHouse to propose a new Title IX rule that would protect LGBTQ+ students from discrimination.

April is #SAAPM, which is the perfect time to finalize the new Title IX rule & protect students. https://t.co/0QazrO80bQ
Within minutes I discovered that old familiar greyed error on my timeline.

The end of an era.
I guess they really could see my posts all this time, which does provide some comfort.
Let's look at a few of my favorite posts (then known as Tweets if you can believe it).
From attempting to ban #transgender troops from the military, to stacking federal courts with anti-LGBTQ extremists, here are 17 times @realDonaldTrump & @Mike_Pence worked to harm #LGBTQ people in 2017. https://t.co/Ig02SpBGI7

You asked 0.02% of 0.4% of the population and 0.002% experienced violence for being transgender. Huge numbers? @HRC pic.twitter.com/5UR4YBue8Y

Trump & Pence are no friend to LGBTQ people. They have:
— Human Rights Campaign (@HRC) May 31, 2019
-Banned trans troops
-Nominated anti-LGBTQ extremists
-Remained silent on anti-LGBTQ violence abroad
-Attempted to allow medical providers to deny LGBTQ people care
-Tried to ban "transgender" & "diversity" from CDC reports pic.twitter.com/hXvE5FbrYH
Trump did not ban trans troops.

He did not nominate 'anti-LGBT extremists' to the judiciary. He nominated the first gay, Filipino judge, Dems blocked.
Trump: initiative to end the criminalization of homosexuality worldwide.
No LGBT person is denied care.
The CDC line was debunked
Oh, I could reminisce forever. But you get the idea.
No matter what their nonsense, I was first in line to set them straight, pun intended.
Sadly, those days are over. In the past year or so, leftwing accounts have all taken a hardline stance against criticism or corrections, turning off replies and liberally applying the block button. It seems the current logic is if they don't see the challenges to their propaganda, it just doesn't exist.
Not that many people are seeing their propaganda. Their efforts at protecting themselves from 'hate,' have resulted in very poor engagement. With 800K followers and being the most vocal and influential LGBTQ advocacy org out there, they really don't enjoy much attention on X.
By blocking me, they may very well have eliminated most of their active engagement!
It's not over for me though. Just because I can't directly comment on their nonsense any longer doesn't mean I won't be watching them, from afar, and sharing it with my followers.
The left thinks it can simply block and ban all opposition until it's the only voice left, but it underestimates how stubborn we on the right really are.
You can't get rid of me that easily! Bwahaha.
