That Means Nothing. Top 5 Hakeem Jeffries Political Posts That Mean Absolutely Nothing

AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite

The most famous political voice best known for saying nothing every time she makes a speech is, of course, VP Kamala Harris. She can always somehow sound profound, daring and compassionate without actually saying anything substantial and the media eat it up.

Runner-up though, has to be Extreme Hakeem Jeffries, NY Congressman and House Minority Leader, who is best known for using the phrase, 'Extreme MAGA,' in every sentence.

Like his mentor, Harris, he's learned that most Democrats respond really well to short meaningless slogans that fit nicely on a bumper sticker.

Here are Jeffries' Top Five completely meaningless posts so far this year!

Number 1:

What?

Is this a counseling service? A sign at a pharmacy?

Number 2:

That sounds very market-tested, and committee approved. Choose common sense, reject chaos. Has a nice ring to it. Means nothing.

Here is the transcript of the video:

'And our promise to you, but more importantly to the American people, who expect that in this Congress, we should have more common sense, and less chaos, we should have more decency, and less dysfunction, and more exceptionalism, and less extremism, our promise to you is that we will do our best to put people over politics.'

See? More nothing.

Of course, hardcore Democrats love this stuff.

Number 3:

I assume he's referencing Trump, who is not currently in office and the Democrats have never pandered to?

Number 4:

Ok, what now?

What does that even mean? Building from the middle out and the bottom up. Is he pushing a rock up a hill?

Number 5:

So ... isn't that good? You know, as a Democrat? Don't you want the Republicans to be too busy fighting with each other to interfere with your plans? Who is the target audience here? Democrats who were thinking of voting Republican if only they played nicer with each other?

Talk about meaningless slogans and useless platitudes. He manages to say nothing at all, over and over, and his base seemingly loves it. They do keep voting for him after all.

It would be nice to get a straight answer out of these guys. What exactly are you planning to do? Give us details and also, how much is it going to cost us?

Don't worry, Jeffries, boldly leading the Democrats, is here to make your life better, bring common sense to combat chaos and work hard for everyday Americans.

I feel so much better now.
