Ravens star slimming down to 350lbs

At one point or the other we have all tried to lose a few extra pounds. Whether you’re slightly overweight or morbidly obese, we all want to be healthy and happy. That’s even the case if you’re a professional athlete!

Baltimore Ravens left tackle Bryant McKinnie is battling his own weight issues right now. At 6-foot-8, 365lbs, the 32-year-old realizes he needs to change his lifestyle and slim down. That’s why he’s decided to trim down a total of 15lbs.

Coaches asked him what weight he felt was best to get back to his Pro Bowl self, and to have a healthier lifestyle.

McKinnie told them 350 pounds. He currently weighs 365, so he’s aiming to drop 15.

“That would be that perfect weight, because when you get too light people start pushing you around,” McKinnie said. “That would take away my advantage.

“I felt like from a fatigue standpoint, being able to play at a high level throughout the game, that’s something I want to be able to do. I don’t want to be three-quarters [speed]. Certain games, I felt like I was feeling really good. Some of them I was just beat down.”
