I used to like Canada. There was a great radio station in London, Ontario that I could pick up on my clock radio, and of course, there was SCTV, which is funnier than Saturday Night Live ever has been. My dad took the family on a car trip to Ontario to see Niagara Falls and the Ontario Science Center.
I don't like Canada as much now. If you're reading this, it means you're a VIP member, so you should have read our own Amy Curtis' piece, "Canada Hides Fascism Behind Its Trump Derangement Syndrome." Curtis remembers how Canadian authorities froze the bank accounts of Freedom Convoy truckers who were peacefully protesting Justin Trudeau's vaccine mandates. Trudeau even evoked a war powers act in the fact of a peaceful protest.
And as Curtis also reported, Canada has a thing for killing off citizens. One in 20 Canadian deaths were from medically assisted suicide in 2023. If Canada is so great, why do people want the government to kill them?
Canada also has a real inferiority complex. I saw today video going around of a Canadian coffee shop updating it chalkboard menu to erase café Americanos with "Canadacanos." Boy, that really stung.
An account called Made in Canada on Thursday featured what they considered a "very rare symbolic moment" … a Canadian goose fighting off a bald eagle.

That's just stupid.
The gayest post I've seen this month.

The added irony is that the Canadian goose was sick and likely dying.

I sort of hate that it's come to this, but as someone pointed out, the Canadian goose actually spends the majority of the year in America. As we reported earlier, Trudeau got bodied by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who posted that Florida sees 3.3 million visitors from Canada. That's not much of a boycott, in my book. Maybe they wanted to get a glimpse of what a Stanley Cup-winning hockey team actually looks like."
If Trump has united Canadians in their hatred of the United States, well I'm happy for them. Let them enjoy the moment.
