The estimates vary, but the New York Times has settled on $1.5 billion as the amount Kamala Harris burnt through in her 15-week campaign. I've done the math in my head and I really don't know how she managed to do it … and reportedly end up $20 in the hole, although that will be covered by her $20 million book advance. I mean, I knew she paid celebrities to come to her rallies and perform (or, in Beyoncé's case, not perform) but that still wouldn't set one back $1.5 billion.
Remember how Oprah Winfrey denied she took $1 million to host a Harris town hall? It's true, technically; the $1 million was paid to Winfrey's production company, Harpo Productions.
Chuck Ross reports for the Washington Free Beacon that former President Barack Obama, a mainstay on the Harris rally circuit, was paid $100,000 by the campaign for "travel."

Kamala Harris campaign paid $95k to the company of BARACK OBAMA, and $58k to the firm of rapper CARDI B.
Interestingly, Cardi B has insisted that she "didn't get a dollar" to appear at a Harris campaign event.

She didn't pay Obama $95,000 … she paid Obama's company $95,000. It's kind of like Harry Sisson claiming he's never been paid by the DNC to post … he's paid by his talent agency, from which the DNC hires him.
Ross reports:
Kamala Harris’s campaign paid nearly $100,000 to a shell company for former president Barack Obama to travel to events and roughly $60,000 to rapper Cardi B, who said she "didn’t get a dollar" to appear alongside the failed presidential candidate.
Harris for President paid $95,576 to Renegade44, LLC. for "travel" expenses and $58,867 to Washpoppin, Inc. for "campaign event production," according to campaign records reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. Public records show the firms are owned by Obama and Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Cephus, respectively.
It’s the latest example of the Harris campaign’s elaborate spending on celebrities and influencers—a spending spree that has stoked intense scrutiny after Harris’s decisive loss to President Donald Trump. The campaign spent $1.5 billion in just three months, with tens of millions of dollars going to celebrities and activists, most of whom did not disclose their payments from the Harris campaign.
Ever since it was announced the Tech Bros would be guests at Donald Trump's inauguration, "oligarchy" has become the word of the day.

And from today:
A foreign billionaire has seized the United States government.

Where did Harris collect $1.5 billion in three months? From $25 donations laundered through ActBlue?
And these clowns have the nerve to say this as Joe Biden placed a Presidential Medal of Freedom around the neck of Alex Soros, who was accepting the award for his father, George.
Now those are principles you can take to the bank

It’s the tricky wording that they’re all using. For example, the Democratic line about Oprah has been, “Oprah wasn’t paid to be there.” That’s technically correct. No check went to Oprah, it went to Harpo Productions, which she owns. It’s shady language to cover shady behavior.

I'm beginning to think these people weren't being truthful.

I'm so happy that Kamala's campaign spent their funds so wisely. Her donors must be quite proud. They got what they paid for - nothing.

So Obama's company was just reimbursed for his travel. OK.
