I learned yesterday that 40 percent of House Democrats sent a letter to President Joe Biden urging him to place an arms embargo on Israel. Sure, they spend the entire first paragraph denouncing the Hamas terrorist attack of October 7, but think of the poor Palestinians. "We are also deeply troubled by the continued level of civilian casualties and humanitarian suffering in Gaza," they write.

As Israel is making the world a safer place, Democrats are pushing for terrorist groups to stay in power. pic.twitter.com/LjrVyvPG0i
I've been assured by many liberals that Hamas was somewhat justified in killing 1,200 innocent Israeli civilians and kidnapping 235 people, many of whom are still in captivity over a year later. I find it hard to gin up any sympathy for the Palestinians because Hamas, which they voted into power, asked for this war. What did they think was going to happen after October 7?
How was Hamas justified? Because the people of Gaza had been living in an "open-air prison." But that doesn't square with this video Ihab Hassan posted Friday showing the "stunning beauty" of Gaza before the war it started.
A video capturing Gaza's stunning beauty before the war—everything you see in this footage now lies in rubble. pic.twitter.com/tWRlyDZrFW

Yeah, your boys probably shouldn't have killed all of those Israelis.
So it wasn't a concentration camp.

Thanks for confirming.
It doesn't look like an open-air prison.

Interesting, as Gaza was always presented as a concentration camp and according to the UN, unfit for human living by 2020.

Weird, I was told that Gaza is an "open air prison" 🤔 pic.twitter.com/l8POuzyS8k

Starting to think maybe Hamas shouldn’t have started a war against a superior enemy

Wow, who knew concentration camps could be beautiful! The camps in Germany and Poland never looked like that.

I thought it was a concentration camp

They still haven't surrendered which means they haven't been hit hard enough.
— David Sumner (@DavidsumnerFilm) December 13, 2024
Hamas could have stopped the war at any time by surrendering and releasing the hostages.
A great tragedy that Hamas chose to destroy it all…

That’s what happens when you start a war and torture, rape, kill and kidnap thousands and continue to hold civilians including a baby hostage for more than a year. If you ever want the people of Gaza to have a better life - stop supporting terrorism and hate.

What, if anything, did you learn?
— End the Simpsons (@EndTheSimpsons) December 14, 2024
Maybe don't start a war with a vastly superior military.
This video isn't at all how I'd pictured Gaza. Thanks for clearing up that it wasn't an open-air prison.
