I hate Elizabeth Warren.
I have a lot of reasons. Her lying about being Native American is one. I'm also astounded that she wants to shut down every crisis pregnancy center in the United States — she fears that pregnant women walk in expecting an abortion and instead are encouraged to keep their babies, and that's an unacceptable bait-and-switch.
I also hate her compulsion to want to regulate every business in America. She can't abide corporate profits.
I wrote the other day that McDonald's HQ sent out a very well-worded memo regarding Donald Trump's shift at a restaurant. They explained that it was an independently owned franchise and was free to do whatever it wanted. They invited Kamala Harris to come work at a McDonald's (for the first time). They said they're not red or blue but golden and their doors are open to everyone.
So what a coincidence that Warren would put on her Karen hat and send a letter to the president and CEO of McDonald's the next day "with concern regarding increases in fast food prices over the last several years and seeking information regarding McDonald's pricing decisions." Warren wants to regulate everything, including the price of a Big Mac.

Trump visits McDonald's for a charming photo-op and literally the next day Elizabeth Warren delivers the political equivalent of "nice place, would be a shame to see anything happen to it" to its CEO pic.twitter.com/Mrvui86LJt

Professor Elizabeth Warren: "Apart from the $5 Meal Deal, has McDonald’s lowered prices on individual menu items? If no, please explain why not." pic.twitter.com/dngnB01gzd

"If not, please explain why not." She wants the CEO of McDonald's to explain why individual menu items cost more than they would bundled in a $5 Meal Deal.
How is any of this the business of the Senate? And what a coincidence this comes right after Trump's successful photo-op at a franchisee.
This is what weaponized government looks like.

The proper reply is: If you think you can do better, open your own restaurant chain and offer lower prices.

Nice to see @SenWarren finally getting concerned about rising prices and impacts of her careless voting has caused…

But shouldn’t she cool it with the fascist-like threats and imposing government sanctions until after the election where they are claiming they are fascists?
But Trump is the fascist, folks. Ignore what you see with your eyes and hear with your ears. Trust the media. Trust the government. Don't question.

Inflation is a good thing.
Wait, why are your prices going up?
SAME. PEOPLE.
She never worries about Harvard raising tuition.

Senator Karen strikes again
— Cryssie (@CryssieGA) October 23, 2024
She really is Senator Karen. She insists on speaking to the CEO of every business in the country and having them explain why they're trying to make a profit. They'll probably subpoena McDonald's CEO and have him testify before a Senate committee about the $5 Meal Deal.
Warren really needs to go.
