Are You Triggered by This 'Caucasians' T-Shirt?

Twitter

I don't follow sports, except for a bit of tennis. I also don't follow sports controversy, but it did get my attention when the Cleveland Indians broke down and changed their name to the Cleveland Guardians. I'm sure that was very meaningful to a handful of people.

I remember before writing about an intramural basketball team formed at the University of Northern Colorado called the "Fighting Whites." According to Wikipedia, the team's popularity skyrocketed, and it made enough money selling Fighting Whites T-shirts that they were "able to endow a sizeable scholarship fund for Native American students at Northern Colorado." The team itself was diverse — everyone was in on the joke. The logo featured a stereotypical "white man" in a suit styled after 1950s advertisements.

I miss listening to Rush Limbaugh, and I remember him saying that one of the characteristics of being Caucasian was having a sense of humor.

I came across this meme and I guess it was supposed to make me angry or something.

A baseball team called the Caucasians sounds badass.

I have no problem with teams changing their names or logos if they feel it's the right thing to do, but this meme just falls flat. It's hilarious.

Matt Walsh, director of "What Is a Woman," has a new film out called "Am I Racist?" and he's posted a scene where he crashes a Race to Dinner— an event where eight guilt-ridden white women pay $2,500 for racist Saira Rao to have dinner with them and "challenge liberal white women to accept their racism, however subconscious."

I've always thought it was quite a scam that a virulent anti-white racist like Rao could land a publishing deal off of Twitter posts like, "Whiteness is terrorism" and "This country is a racist transphobic homophobic xenophobic ableist classist Islamophobic misogynistic dumpster fire. As such, seeing the American flag makes me want to vomit." And so, it was Penguin Publishing I think, decided she should write a book.

Anyway, in Walsh's new movie, he crashes a Race to Dinner and it's hilarious:

Brilliant stuff.

And the ADL considers "It's Okay to Be White" as a hate slogan, after the trolls at 4chan decided to spread it around without context just to trigger the "woke."

I would totally wear a Caucasians T-shirt.
