We here at Twitchy have done a lot of posts about NBC News senior reporter Brandy Zadrozny. She's the definition of an activist journalist. We were really busy writing about her when Christopher Rufo was bringing the nation's attention to critical race theory being interwoven in public school curriculums. Critical race theory was a right-wing bogeyman and "the new Antifa"; Zadrozny examined how "longtime ultra-conservative activists" and misguided parents were weaponizing the critical race theory bogeyman. She talked with Chris Hayes about the Right's fixation with race and the "moral panic machine" over CRT in schools.
We'd say Rufo won that battle.
Zadrozny also has a thing against Libs of TikTok, accusing her of inciting a shooting at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado.
So it's only natural that she would back up fellow Libs of TikTok hater Taylor Lorenz of the Washington Post. As we reported Friday, Lorenz was in a bit of hot water over a selfie taken at the White House's event for digital influencers: She posted a snap to Instagram with President Biden in the background and a caption that read "War criminal :(".
She argued it was just a joke off a real social media meme, but a spokesperson at the Washington Post said they were taking it very seriously.
Zadrozny has Lorenz's back, though. Activist reporters have to stick together.
Here’s the thing. There is a whole industry of people including certain folks at Fox News and LibsofTiktok that have staked an entire career on stalking Taylor and fomenting fake outrage every time she posts — from over a decade ago, “criticizing” her avocado toast lunch to this… https://t.co/br7R4llaeW

"Stalking Taylor"? She's the one who went to the homes of Chaya Raichik's family before doxxing her in a story, including a link to her place of employment.
Here’s the thing:

Taylor Lorenz lied about the post.
Period. https://t.co/bS8YLfnmda
It's astounding to me how Lorenz kept her job after the round of layoffs at the Post. What value does she bring to the newspaper? How many articles on technology does she actually publish? They're few and far between. I wouldn't mind publishing a post every month or so and still getting paid.
You're insane.

But everyone knows that already.
Taylor doxed Libs of TikTok. I’m not sure why you think anything about her happens in a vacuum.

Like we haven’t watched TL be absolutely horrible for years.

Real actual news is that Mr. Beast once tweeted “Windows is gay,” which Taylor Lorenz exposed in a piece of hers published in The Atlantic. pic.twitter.com/rjOWAZ0uId

Taylor is an unethical journalist and a bad person who goes out of her way to harm people via her pseudojournalism.
And now, she got caught red-handed in a lie.
That said, I can see why you’re defending her. You’re every bit is vile as she is.
I worked as a newspaper reporter for several years and even had an opinion column, and i'd still bet that readers couldn't tell if I were a Republican or a Democrat, a conservative or a liberal. It wasn't that hard to attend a city council meeting and report on what was discussed. I honestly don't know how any of these activist journalists keep their jobs — I'd think keeping them on would be more trouble than it's worth.
