I've shocked myself by writing posts actually praising President Joe Biden for his resolute stand with Israel, despite his voting base leaving bloody handprints all over the White House gate and demanding that the Secret Service send out the war criminal to the mob. It looks like Biden is caving — quietly — into Hamas supporters' demands for a ceasefire. Well, they're calling it a "pause" now — I guess that sounds better.
"Sir, did you ask Bibi for a three-day pause?"

BIDEN: "Heat pumps?"
"Did you ask the prime minister of Israel for a three-day pause?"
BIDEN: "Didn't get a chance to talk to him today. Did ask him for a pause in the past. Yesterday." pic.twitter.com/XSXPFH3Fhi
Axios is reporting that the U.S., Israel, and Qatar have been cooking up a plan where Hamas would use the three-day pause to release 10 to 15 hostages (out of some 200) and compile a list of the names of people it's holding hostage. We know the people Hamas is holding hostage — pro-Hamas protesters (and British cops) have been tearing down "Kidnapped" posters for weeks now.
So that's what Hamas would do with a three-day pause.
Biden is urging Israel to accept a 3-day ceasefire in exchange for only 10-15 hostages out of at least 240 people being held, plus a list of names of everyone being held. No request to release all children and all women.

And a guaranteed recharge for Hamas.
This is insulting. pic.twitter.com/1Q3vwpqswM
Biden is back to meeting my expectations.
This is Hamas right now even without a ceasefire. What do you think is going to happen once they replenish. https://t.co/7wh5NaYxQL

THEY ARE HOLDING BABIES HOSTAGE. And Biden doesn’t even make it a priority to get the little kids out of captivity. Mind-blowing.

A base-level good leader would demand the release of all the babies and the children as a prerequisite to any negotiations. Full stop.

But then there’s Biden.
Biden made a rare prime-time address from the Oval Office to argue that we not forget to fund the war in Ukraine while also sending aid to Israel. He's been awfully quiet about this deal that's being brokered, though.

Biden is not helping. And Obama should stay out of it.

No, all hostages.

Ridiculous, insulting and dangerous.

Biden shouldn't be allowed to negotiate toilet paper choices; who stupidly put him in charge of this?
— Sean Gatton (@SeanGatton) November 7, 2023
He's not in charge. But his handlers probably advised him that his pro-Israel stance could cost him votes.
Release the hostages.

All of them, at once.
Unconditional surrender.
Why is there any talk at all about Israel putting down its weapons for three days so that Hamas can break that ceasefire as well and regroup?
Just when you thought that Biden couldn't look weaker....

Yeah, this is a really bad look. Ten hostages?
