I did a post on NBC News' "dystopia beat" reporter Ben Collins saying that he was going to quit journalism at the end of the year, even though he had "no skills." He had a couple of big stories to finish up first, though. Collins is one of those curiosities to me … if you search NBC News for articles he's written, there are barely any. Apparently, you can go months between publishing a story at NBC News and still keep your job. He does do occasional hits on Joy Reid's conspiracy program, though.
Collins is still around for now, and as we reported earlier, Libs of TikTok's Chaya Raichik posted a photo of her holding the issue of USA TODAY with a hit piece on Libs of TikTok on the cover. Collins found it "despicable."
About as despicable as it gets. pic.twitter.com/GCpfCUnCme

So sad.
Yes, thank you, Ben! USA Today is despicable. 👏

Respectfully Ben,

I can think of a lot more despicable stuff that’s happened in the last month than this tweet https://t.co/4gMQlX1f1r
Her account literally just holds a mirror back up to the most disturbing and disgusting parts of our society. Sorry you guys can’t handle looking at yourselves. Should tell you something.

She simply reposts the nasty garbage your people post.

I’m sorry this is happening to you.

Ben, have you directed your scorn toward USA Today?
— Sandy 〽️ (@RightGlockMom) November 6, 2023
Because, that's where it belongs.
The jealous rage is palpable.

Coming from you, that's one hell of an endorsement. People should definitely follow @libsoftiktok, MSM can seethe and cope.

What are you going to do when you quit your job as a professional whiner?
— Pete D’Abrosca (@pdabrosca) November 6, 2023
That wasn't the only response to the USA TODAY hit piece; Raichik recorded her interview with USA TODAY's reporter, Will Carless, and noted all the things he left out of the piece:
It’s important to remember that the hit pieces are already written before the media activists even reach out to you for comment. Nothing you say will change the article.
— Chaya Raichik (@ChayaRaichik10) November 6, 2023
Here’s proof of @USATODAY leaving out very important context in their hit piece on me! Watch till end! pic.twitter.com/KFYGF4WMzS
That's the truth. The piece is already written — if the "journalist" is feeling obligated, he might reach out to the person to grab a couple of quotes to sprinkle in the article to make it "balanced."
I write about Libs of TikTok a lot, and again, there are never calls for violence — all she does is amplify the message that the liberals themself put out there on social media and give it the attention they want. And she has a lot more influence than Collins, despite his "real journalist" credentials.
