As you know, Hamas supporters like The Squad are happily posting fake news about Israel bombing a hospital despite it having been proven a rocket misfiring. The call from the and for all of those who took place in the insurrection in the Capitol is for #CeasefireNow. October 7 is just when some people did things, but now there's no question but to call a ceasefire.
The thing about calling a ceasefire, after Hamas has slaughtered more than a thousand Israelis and taken hostages, is that Hamas gets to lie back and relax for a bit basking in the glow of its terror attack.
Even MSNBC's Mehdi Hasan pressed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to admit that a ceasefire would leave Hamas in place. No word about hostages. Just everybody stop shooting now.
"You would accept a ceasefire, though, would leave Hamas in place?"

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: "In the immediate sense, we have to have a pause" pic.twitter.com/EyuHwjhHQQ
Can you imagine watching this show on MSNBC and taking this host and AOC seriously?

Stop going after terrorists and asking them nicely to stop.

Why didn't anyone else think of that?
The left is weak on foreign policy.

This dimwit wants Israel to pause so Hamas can regroup and kill more Jews at a later date. No Israel cannot stop until the threat is gone. AOC needs to go back to bartending, she doesn’t belong in Congress.

@aoc doing nothing in the face if evil is evil itself. Read Bonhoffer. You know nothing of history or strategy. Your judgment is flawed.

"in the immediate sense" What does that mean?
— Smarmy Mole (@thedilbertscale) October 23, 2023
In the sense of being done before thinking it through.
