Climate change acolytes have been predicting the end of humanity for decades now. The Arctic ice sheet was supposed to have melted by now and flooded Miami. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the architect of the Green New Deal, had given us 12 years to act on climate change or face certain doom. And back in 2018, Greta Thunberg quoted a “top climate scientist” who claimed that humans had five years to stop using fossil fuels or be wiped out. Speaking of being wiped out, Thunberg appears to have deleted her doomsday tweet.

Greta Thunberg deleted this tweet because it exposes her for being a fraud. Make sure the entire world sees it. pic.twitter.com/kEvuMiBS8D

According to that timestamp, we still have three months.

In 2nd grade, they taught us that the ocean would rise 150 feet by now. I think that was in 1980.

Still amazed at the people who held up a high school dropout as some sort of expert on – anything, really.

Is she jumping on the perpetual 12 years that never end? It has been 12 for the last 3 years. I don’t think they can subtract.

Okay, come on now. She was using the Mayan Calendar…well, alright so that doesn’t work either. Maybe she ought to give it rest…..
— Andrew (@Azionistatheart) March 13, 2023
To be fair, she actually said that if something wasn’t done in 5 years, then the world would end as a result. She didn’t say it would end in 5 years.

True … humanity had five years to stop using fossil fuels, and then climate change would wipe out humanity at some future date.

Broad declarations deserve broad and harsh criticisms.

Looks like she forgot the rule: never predict that the end of the world is less than 10 years in the future. Too many people remember your false prediction if it's any sooner than that.
— Nancy Rogers (@NancyRedPA) March 13, 2023
Exactly … predict the world will end sometime after you’ll likely be dead so you don’t have to face the ridicule.
