These freakish teachers are a dime a dozen on TikTok, but we wanted to feature this one because it’s a recurring theme we’re seeing. We know that the word “grooming” is forbidden, but our preferred definition notes that grooming children — sexually, politically, or otherwise — necessitates isolating them from their families. Why? Because parents are backward thinkers who likely won’t affirm their 7-year-old’s new gender identity. That’s why it’s necessary for teachers to make their classrooms safe spaces in which children can confide in them without their parents having to know. (The “experts” advise that you cut ties with family members skeptical of “your 4-year-old trans kiddo.”)
Last spring, Libs of TikTok posted a video of an Oklahoma middle school teacher declaring, “If your parents don’t accept you for who you are, f*** them. I’m your parents now.” Libs of TikTok also posted a sign on a teacher’s door reading, “If your parents aren’t accepting of your identity, I’m your mom now. #freemomhugs.”
And who can forget President Joe Biden’s view of teachers (and parents):

Following that trend, here’s a teacher who provides her students with the queer representation that she never had. She even tells her students to call her “Mom.” (Does this person have children of her own? Yeah, we doubt it too.)

Remember when schools considered teaching kids to be a serious job and someone who sounded overly politcal, weird or had an edgy haircut wasn't welcome as a teacher? That was nice.

Someone should write a book warning kids about outside adults who want to keep secrets.

This is the definition of grooming.

I want to confide in her all of my secrets. That’s a great mom teacher.

Your job is to teach the core subjects. The students are not surrogates to satisfy a self-absorbed need to usurp parental authority. Get some integrity and a different career.

perfectly normal.

Yeah. That's what I want a teacher to do. Be a confidant to my kids. Screw the math and English.

Yikes. Parents could literally be afraid to send their children to school. It's happening.

"I like to cosplay as a parent by doing the easy, fun stuff like giving kids candy and saying yes to everything they believe, then when the kid's life implodes I move on to another kid and leave the real parents to pick up the pieces."

Yep.
She can be my queer mom, amiright?
*fist bump*
All joking aside, the “be yourself” is a good one, she is crossing a line with having them call her mom. That’s harmful. She cannot be there for them in that way, and confusing them about what a mom is, can be very damaging.

The new pandemic is narcissist groomers. Disgusting.

It’s nice to know so many teachers think of parents as the enemy and offer to step in and be their “real” family.
