President Biden tells PBS that 'they' have informed him not to speak about classified documents

President Joe Biden, after giving the greatest State of the Union address of all time on Tuesday night, sat down with PBS NewsHour Wednesday for an exclusive interview. As Twitchy has noted, Biden had called it “totally irresponsible” for Donald Trump or anyone to have classified documents in their possession — this was obviously before those classified documents were found at the Penn Biden Center.

Biden told Judy Woodruff that “they” have informed him not to speak about the classified documents issue so as not to taint the ongoing investigation, but that didn’t stop him from saying that he’d invited the authorities in to search for more classified documents, which is Biden and the Democrats’ way of saying it’s no big deal he had them because he’s cooperating now that he’s been caught.

Do you remember how Biden always used to say in speeches that he was going to “get in trouble” if he called on reporters? With whom?

He did speak, though, and blamed the movers.

“But one of the things that happened is, what was not done well is, as they packed up my offices to move them, they didn’t do the kind of job that should’ve been done to thoroughly go through every single piece of literature,” he added.

The president said that looking ahead, he will wait to see what the results of the investigation from officials are.

What kind of documents was a senator sneaking out back in 1974? That’s a long time to be holding onto classified material.

He doesn’t want to “prejudice” the investigation in any way, so he’d rather not talk about it. Good for PBS for actually asking.
