This tiny group of vegan activists explained that they were going to stop an 18-wheeler full of tasty animals, and a couple even grabbed onto the side of the truck and dug in the heels of their hemp sandals. That, apparently, was the whole plan: that and to stand in front of the truck, which they didn’t know was being driven by a “psychopath” with no regard for life, human or animal.
