Migrants bused to New York City arrested for shoplifting $12,000 in merchandise and then released

It was back in October when the mayor of America’s largest city, Eric Adams, declared a state of emergency of the influx of migrants that were being bused in from Texas. The sanctuary city just didn’t have the facilities to accommodate a couple of thousand migrants.

While we’ve heard a lot of blather about “human trafficking,” word is that these migrants happily volunteer for a free bus ride to Washington, D.C., Chicago, or New York, where they’ve been promised employment and shelter.

The New York Post reports that four migrants bused to New York City have managed to assimilate right away, and were arrested for shoplifting $12,000 in merchandise from Macy’s.

The New York Post reports:

Four migrants bused into New York City from Texas were busted for snatching thousands of dollars in merchandise from a Nassau County mall, officials said Monday.

Wrallan Cabezas Meza, 19, Miguel Angel Rojas, 21, Rafael Rojas, 27, and Jose Garcia Escobar, 30, are accused of driving from the Big Apple to Garden City and stealing $12,489 in goods from Macy’s Roosevelt Field earlier this month, according to county police.

Cops caught the crew shortly after the Jan. 9 heist in Hampstead when Meza was pulled over for allegedly failing to use a turn signal in a 2006 BMW with bogus plates, a criminal complaint in the case states.

Does Cabezas Meza have a U.S. driver’s license?

And once again, New York’s no cash bail policy lets them back out on the streets with the assumption they’ll show up for their court date.

They probably knew there was a lot more worth stealing in New York City than there was in Texas.
