It’s not surprising that a county as woke and progressive as Loudoun County, Virginia would attract the attention of the Ku Klux Klan. We’d reported back in 2021 that the Klan had delivered a few fliers around Leesburg and “were distributed due to topics discussed at the Loudon County School Board meetings.” That was around the time that the Loudoun County School Board shut off the mic and had the meeting declared an unlawful assembly, with two people being arrested for refusing to leave before speaking. (One man was just declared not guilty.)
Something has the Klan upset, as they’ve hit the county with more fliers.
The KKK is not welcome in Virginia. Your racist, anti-Muslim, and Antisemitic flyers will not intimidate us. Our diversity is one of our strengths. https://t.co/OAIGQsWGHt

The Loudoun Times-Mirror reports:
The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is a time when many Loudoun County residents come together to honor the slain civil rights leader, but it is also a time when the Ku Klux Klan tries to divide them.
For the last several years, the KKK has left racist flyers in the county around the time of the holiday, a spokesperson for the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said. It happened again this week, days after the holiday.
A combined total of roughly 50 flyers wrapped in plastic bags with birdseed were found on Thursday in driveways of several homes on Sagle Road in Purcellville, Hamilton Station Road in Hamilton, and Waterford Creek Circle in Waterford, according to an LCSO news release.
It is kind of weird that instead of slipping these under people’s windshield wipers they weigh them down with birdseed and leave them in people’s driveways.
Did you catch the KKK doing this? If not, how do you know it wasn't faked? Because there's AT LEAST a 50% chance it was faked.

Another hoax

Yes I have to question the legitimacy of these flyers.

I've grown up in SW VA, and maybe met 3-4 people, in my lifetime, that are truly racist. I sure as hell have never met or heard of anyone in the KKK.
I think you're seeing flyers from these college age kids that are being instructed to find racism. Sounds pretty hoaxy to me.

Was a guy by the name of Jesse involved? Last name, Smollett….

Question: have we linked the flyers to an actual identifiable person?
— Tom (@bluedog20175) January 20, 2023
Can you explain to me why diversity is a strength?
— blairkiel (@blairkiel1) January 21, 2023
Diversity isn't a strength, clown.

This is so pathetic, truly. Loudoun County School doxes parents and hides the rape of children. But you wanna cry about some flyers that effect nobody and were likely staged.
— Jackalope (@Jackalo08043309) January 20, 2023
50 flyers. That's 1 person, some whacko working out of a garage — or more likely another Jussie Smollett fake hate crime. The left will try to blow this up to look like some kind of racist insurrection, when the opposite is true.

Is the @ProjectLincoln at it again?

Have you learned nothing from every other hoax Dems have done in the last 5 years?
— Steve Brown 🇺🇸🥓🔫 (@Brown812) January 20, 2023
Good grief we all know it's another Chardonnay Antifa hoax….. Why do they keep trying to pull this nonsense?
— Jackie Wright (@Joes1Neuron) January 21, 2023
Attorney General Jason Miyeres is getting beaten up in the replies pretty badly since he’s a Republican and the KKK are “his people.”
A lot of people have Ring doorbell cameras and the like set up … is there any video?
