First, an aside. We get how you can be Never Trump. But it takes a great lack of imagination to not be able to see a Republican Party without Trump. Never Trump instead went fully liberal Democrat, told people to vote straight Democrat down the ballot, and now defend President Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents. A reasonable person can deduce that both Biden and Donald Trump are guilty of mishandling classified material.
The Bulwark’s Jonathan V. Last, though, notes that it’s stupid people who can’t tell the difference between the two. It’s funny; right after the story broke, CNN created a side-by-side graphic of each president’s transgressions. This, of course, before they revealed they’d found more documents in Biden’s garage.
In which @JVLast asks: "Does it matter that stupid people can't tell the difference between the Trump and Biden document breaches?"
(Spoiler: No, especially not with GOPers making comparisons they *know* are BS, to bait the media into repeating them.)https://t.co/WaID9qv7Ib

Tom Nichols, who makes clear he’s no “GOPer,” thinks GOPers can steer the narrative woven by the mainstream media.
No, it doesn't matter that you can't.

Hey Tom, quick question, do you know the difference, I know I do. You see as the Command authority one of them had the power to change the classification. The Other was 6+ yrs removed from the VP office, which has no command authority at all.

They don't care. They are both paid and told what to think. It's not harder than that

We can tell the (D)ifference Tom, we can all tell the (D)ifference. Especially independent voters, they can tell the (D)ifference too.

One difference is NARA knew about Trump's docs because they asked for them to be returned. NARA didn't know about Biden's docs because they never asked for them and didn't know about them until the "lawyers" turned them over to NARA….3 separate times.

The difference is you voted for one over the other.

Everyone’s stupid but the only true conservatives defending a corrupt liberal.

Is the difference that Biden was VP and had absolutely no right to take classified documents with him?

6 years.
His behavior NOW means nothing. 6 years of people in and out of his office and garage.
6. Years.
— New Year, New Beard (@llcthecableguy) January 17, 2023
Biden kept classified documents at multiple locations one being a garage at a house rented by his drug addicted son. Trump kept documents in a locked room at a resort with 24/7 secret service protection. Both were wrong, but acting as if Biden was somehow better is stupid

Your arrogant contempt and disdain for people whose lives aren't consumed by politics is how Trump got elected in the first place, but this is how you get paid so keep it up I guess.

We have “the expert” and then we have the “stupid people.” And the expert’s sticking with Biden no matter what.
