The January 6 select committee’s final meeting earlier this week was big news; as we told you, MSNBC had split its screen into eight boxes to fit all of the expert panelists, and this was before the meeting even started. They and the rest of the mainstream media were prepped for big news.
A few things have happened since, and now the committee is delaying the release of its final report over fears of being overshadowed by the omnibus spending bill and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit with President Joe Biden and his address to Congress.
UPDATE: The Jan. 6 select committee report will be released … TOMORROW.
Some records may be released today.

Pileup of Zelensky visit and omnibus risked overshadowing the report release, and was taking up most of Congress' bandwidth today, it seems.

That’s a shame.
The 1/6 Committee, irritated that there are other things attracting attention besides them, has delayed release of their final report until tomorrow.
Russia and Ukraine should agree to a one-week cease fire out of respect for the 1/6 Committee's vital work. pic.twitter.com/dbfkJ3lvZv

Ha! Maybe make it a one-off national holiday too 😂

If they really think it was a coup it's very understanding of them to be so flexible with reporting on it.

No one will care tomorrow either.

1/6 committee is learning that no one gives a tinkers damn about their findings. They only way they can release their findings and get any attention is if there isn't anything else going on.
— Scott Michaels (@scottbmichaels) December 21, 2022
Oh no. We can’t have that. 1/6 is the most important event in world history. It must get the attention it deserves

It’s bigger than Pearl Harbor, the Civil War, and 9/11. It was the day democracy nearly died.
Today or tomorrow, no one cares.

It literally seems like Congress is purposefully attempting to push our buttons.
Let's devote all our time to issues no one gives a damn about and spend all the taxpayer money while doing it.Do they really want to piss us off?

Jan 6th does not seem to resonate with the public or sufficiently distract from overt governmental censorship and collusion. Delay till tomorrow, maybe it will work then. #itsthecontempt

Embarrassing.

Zelenskyy’s even ruined the release of Donald Trump’s tax returns.
We’ll all be waiting by our computers tomorrow like we’re trying to score Taylor Swift tickets.
