Fox News is reporting that Russia fired a couple of missiles that strayed into Poland and killed two people. Poland, of course, is a member of NATO, which brings up the question of what NATO is going to do about it.
cannot imagine russia intended to hit poland with those missiles. but this is a huge mistake…

If it landed on farmland which is 95% of the area that would be one thing. It hit a grain processing plant, which is coincidentally the #1 export of Ukraine. The odds don't make sense for it to be random. It makes more sense Russia is testing NATO

NATO has to take action. How proportionate that action is is the question, but it cannot not do anything.

NATO and the U.S. don't have to escalate anything militarily over a stray missile.
If they wanted to send a message, the lights could flicker in Moscow.

No doubt this tweet stating this fact will simultaneously be denounced as surrendering to Putin and starting World War Three.
— Jim Geraghty (@jimgeraghty) November 15, 2022
I think it was intended. Putin probes the response of the West.

I can imagine that if they continue to lose they might try to tempt NATO into entering the war so they can justify their narrative that they are fighting NATO.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a statement that this is “a significant escalation” and that “we must act.”

The White House has requested $37.7 billion in new Ukraine funding, but we’re not certain if that’s related to the missile attack. It was floated that Democrats were going to try to secure a $50 billion aid package before Republicans took over the House in January.
JUST IN – White House requests $37.7 billion in new Ukraine funding.

No we won’t act. No one is going to fight the war you created while at the same time enriching yourself and Democrats

Dear Mr. Zelenskyy, We'll let you know when it's time to "act." And, if you don't hear from us, it's not time. Signed, America.

As far as we know, we haven’t heard from President Biden on the subject, as he’s overseas for the G-20 summit.
And if you missed out on the FTX scandal, here it is in one simple graphic:

While the White House hasn’t confirmed the reports, the Pentagon reiterated the position that the U.S. will defend every inch of NATO territory — repeating President Biden's vow. https://t.co/sglkqsGdbX pic.twitter.com/S6k4bLRzyr
