Apparently, Disney put this together to celebrate Native American Heritage Month (insert Elizabeth Warren joke here). To celebrate Native American heritage, Disney invited employees to take a cultural journey with a Native American merman. “Geo Soctomah Neptune is a member of the Passamaquoddy tribe, a basketmaker, drag queen, an activist, educator, and Two-Spirit — an Indigenous cultural, spiritual, and gender role that holds the sacred space between masculine and feminine energies, a carrier of tradition, and an educator of youth.”
SCOOP: Walt Disney Co. recently hosted a "cultural journey" for employees featuring a "Two-Spirit," "she/they," "drag queen," "merperson" named Geo Neptune. The company is following every fad of radical gender theory, from children's programming to pseudo-indigenous pantomime. pic.twitter.com/XRIovBnRsI

We guess we’re out of the loop because Neptune seems to be pretty well-known.
It’s shocking as to why they’re having to freeze hiring, and layoff employees…🙄

That outfit is definitely mermaid cultural appropriation.

I always had a hunch mermaids were were indigenous to the plains of middle America

So sad Disney deteriorated so badly

Wow, I thought my team building in 2005 doing yoga in the dark was bad enough, this calls for a sick day or three.

Does a "two-spirit" person have to buy two tickets to enter a Disney theme park?

Little Mermaid reboot looks sick!

I have never before thought this would be the aimless result of man's search for meaning after they denied god

Be as weird as you want, Disney, but don't expect my family or our dollars to join you

I’m really sick of Americans falling for this insanity. Indigenous cultures tolerated these confused people but they never wished their children to be like that. They did not promote this. They were treated like shamans.

Be whoever the hell you want to be in your own head and in your own world. Just don’t expect everyone else in society to play along with your stupid little pronoun word games and alter the way we use language and the way view reality.

We’ve read a little further and they are a designated Master Basketweaver, so that’s cool.
