He didn’t need it, but John Fetterman’s campaign had filed a lawsuit asking that mail-in ballots without a date or with the incorrect date be counted.
This editor hadn’t heard about ballot “curing” until 2018 when volunteers from the Florida Democratic Party called voters in Palm Beach County whose mail-in ballots had to be “fixed” — after the recount had already started. And in November 2020, Team Joe was encouraging volunteers to join them in a virtual training to learn how to knock on doors to help voters “cure” their ballots. “If your ballot was rejected, your county elections office will contact you with a document to ‘cure’ or correct your ballot envelope,” read the State of Georgia’s website.
So if you’re wondering why it’s taking so long to get results in Nevada — and wondering why the ballots always seem to favor Democrats — keep in mind that the Culinary Union, which is a major force in Las Vegas politics, is sending union members door-to-door to cure thousands of ballots.
Clark County Registrar Joe Gloria says in his press conference that about half of all total ballots that need a cure (a fix for a signature problem on a mail ballot) have been cured.
Total requiring cures: 14,651
Total cures still open: 7,139— Jacob Solis (@jacobsolisnv) November 12, 2022
The Culinary is running an intense curing campaign for its members, Dems optimistic on this batch. https://t.co/xUBBMOmPxj

How can an outside group (like the Culinary) know whose ballots need curing? Thought that it was only a matter between county officials and the individual voters.

There’s a list posted on the election board website. It’s public.

This is insane. Ballots that are invalid should remain invalid. Having partisan political organizations calling up voters to harvest ballots five days after an election is something they don't even do in the third-world. https://t.co/R1XnI7DcvC

And to be clear, this isn't fraud. It's just how insane Nevada's election laws are.

A lot of states, apparently.
The Reid Machine lives.

Keep going until you all get the result you want. That’s the Democrat way

So, are they cheating or are that many democrats really too stupid to fill out a ballot?

Typical of a nanny state. Citizens can't be bothered with their responsibility as a voter, they gotta be spoon fed their duty

It's harvesting ballots. It's taking ballots that would otherwise not count, getting them "fixed," and then getting them added to the count.
Get bent.

When partisan organizations are calling up people to get them to come in and validate their ballot, it's harvesting ballots that would otherwise not be counted.
Again, get bent.

We’re not sure in how many states they give you days after Election Day, after the Election Day totals have come in, to “fix” the ballot that you were somehow incapable of filling out correctly. It smells. But Republicans really have to, as many people have said, learn how to collect ballots, not votes.

Editor’s Note: Republican voters deserve answers and accountability for the failed red wave.
