Once again, we have a candidate who learned nothing from the gubernatorial election in Virginia, where Terry McAuliffe was proudly joined at rallies by Randi Weingarten and explained that parents have no business telling schools what to teach. Ohio Senate candidate Tim Ryan seems to be standing firmly with the teachers’ unions at his own peril. What we don’t get is what he trying to say here exactly … he’s saying there are people who want to turn our schools “into the next battleground in the culture wars.” Just which people would these be? The ones advocating for vocational education? Or the ones insisting on bringing Drag Queen Story Hour into kindergarten classrooms? Republicans are not the ones who turned classrooms into cultural battlegrounds.

Yes, we do want to fight for decency and age-appropriate reading lists. And we sure as HELL want to fight teachers who choose young people in their classrooms to validate their sexuality and gender confusion.

The ones doing this are the left. But if anyone says "No, stop this nonsense" they are being branded as the ones putting the culture war in the school?

Exactly … you as parents were just supposed to sit quietly and let it happen.
Was Tim Ryan sleeping last year when Youngkin beat McAuliffe in VA?

Pay no attention to the what schools are doing to your kids. It's just the right trying to make it a culture war.

Total gaslighting. Tim Ryan’s the worst kind of Democrat.

You are right about that, but where you are wrong is when you pin that on PARENTS INSTEAD OF DEMOCRAT ACTIVISTS.

Parents start showing up to school boards to demand some input into what their children are learning and are branded domestic terrorists for raising their voices.
