What were the libs calling it? #Roevember? Democrats seemed certain that the Supreme Court striking down Roe v. Wade would have a huge impact at the ballot box, but polls showed that the Dobbs decision really didn’t move the meter that much. We’re sure it pained them to say it, but the Houston Chronicle reported Thursday that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s lead over challenger Beto O’Rourke is widening as voters prioritize immigration over abortion.

The poll also indicated that Texas voters may consider immigration a more important issue than abortion. About 31 percent of respondents said immigration was their top concern ahead of the midterms, while 22 percent said the same for abortion. pic.twitter.com/fb7CzhVpFq

And Beto O’Rourke’s plan to secure the border is …? Heck, even Abbott isn’t doing enough — nobody is.
When asked to rank their top two issues, though, the numbers evened out — 13 percent said immigration was their first or second choice; it was 12 percent for abortion. Texans overwhelmingly consider the economy and inflation their highest priority. pic.twitter.com/c7vD2C6TxD

The economy and inflation, huh? Crazy.
I don't believe this at all… everyone I speak to says they're voting for Beto.

OK then.
Are there really that many Texans who hate immigrants & women?
— FattyCat (@CharIowa1) September 22, 2022
Yes. It’s Texas. Even the women hate themselves.
Abbott widens lead over O'Rourke in Texas governor's race as voters focus on race and hate over abortion.

We get the idea that people who follow the Houston Chronicle don’t represent the majority of Texans. There are people in the replies saying they’re unfollowing and canceling their subscriptions over these poll results.
