Twitchy favorite Max Nordau has been keeping the opposition busy over the past few days, ever since he tweeted about that video of January 6 select committee member Rep. Jamie Raskin questioning the result of the 2000 election. Raskin also objected to the certification of electoral votes for Donald Trump in 2017, and no one raised an eyebrow.
As we reported, Talking Points Memo’s Josh Marshall sure seemed to get testy with Nordau when asked flat out who won the 2000 election.
The thread is still going, and now former Sen. Barbara Boxer is weighing in.

See, Boxer came right out and said her objective wasn’t designed to overturn Bush’s re-election, so we have to believe her, right? She was just bringing up concerns, right? Just like Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones was bringing up concerns about Diebold voting machines. Those were legitimate concerns.

The Democrat have been pushing to address voter DISENFRANCHISEMENT. Again, the article posted literally mentions this.
From pulling voting machines in minority areas, to purging rolls that contain eligible voters.

With the Democrats, it’s always voter suppression. Asking for voter ID is voter suppression. Not letting candidates hand out food and water to people in line to vote is voter suppression.

There was much discussion, amplified on the internet in those pre-social media days, about the machine-maker Diebold and the alleged security flaws in its machines that made them susceptible to hacking.

No, Boxer never intended to overturn the election … or maybe she knew she couldn’t overturn the election but tried anyway.
But 2020 … if you opposed the certification of electoral votes for Joe Biden, you’re an insurrectionist and should be prevented from holding office.
