House Judiciary Republicans say whistleblower has named another agent who aimed to pad domestic terrorism data

We’ve heard a lot about domestic violent extremism and domestic terrorism during the Biden administration — in particular, that white supremacists are the largest domestic terror threat. We’ve heard this from both President Joe Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland. Late last month, the House Judiciary Committee Republicans announced that a whistleblower had accused the FBI of pressuring agents to reclassify cases as domestic terrorism to pump up the numbers.

Now the House Judiciary GOP is back with another letter, this one saying a second whistleblower has named Jill Sanborn, who worked at the FBI for more than two decades, as having exerted pressure on agents to reclassify cases as domestic violent extremism matters.

They report:

[Rep. JIm] Jordan contacted FBI Director Christopher Wray about the initial accusation on July 27, stating “FBI officials are pressuring agents to reclassify cases as ‘domestic violent extremism’ even if the cases do not meet the criteria for such a classification.”

The whistleblower allegations, Jordan noted, were “scandalous” considering the Biden administration’s push to frame domestic violent extremism as America’s “greatest threat.”

Jordan requested at the time that Wray provide his committee with an array of documents related to the allegations by August 10 at 5:00 p.m. Wray had not responded to the request as of the time of this publishing, a committee spokesperson confirmed.

Wray probably had a plane to catch.

That’s right, she’s the one who refused to tell Sen. Ted Cruz if Ray Epps was a fed. Now she works at Roku, apparently.

Make sure to classify anyone speaking up at a school board meeting as a domestic terrorist.
