On Wednesday, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform held a hearing with gun manufacturers called, “Examining the Practices and Profits of Gun Manufacturers.” An investigation by the House committee revealed some troubling information, such as that gun manufacturers have made more than $1 billion from selling AR-15-style guns over the past decade. And that’s bad.
Also, as we reported, ace detective Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez found a Valknut tattoo on the arm of a man in a Daniel Defense advertisement, although the photo had cropped out anything to indicate it was a Daniel Defense ad. That tattoo, AOC surmised, meant that gun manufacturers were targeting white supremacists with their advertising.
Rep. Primila Jayapal, who’s a dark horse in the running for dumbest member of Congress, managed to wrap up the entire day’s hearing in one tweet:
As white supremacy and hatred are on the rise, gun manufacturers have gotten rich off of a seemingly endless string of tragedies.
It's time for an assault weapons ban to protect our communities.

If white supremacy and hatred are on the rise, shouldn’t minority communities be arming themselves rather than counting on an “assault weapons” ban? Who’s up for a ban?
Nope.

30-round magazines would be an excellent deterrent against lynch mobs.

Nationwide an average of 300 people a year are killed by rifle of any kind. There or 20 million AR15s in the United States. I’m sorry Rep Jayapal but that’s gonna be a no from me. https://t.co/8YBOCSSV4i

I doubt anyone is helping AR sales more than those who threaten to ban them. https://t.co/oR7bb2rbcq

Funny how gun manufacturers’ revenues have tripled over the past three years, as society collapses and Democrats call for defunding the police and mandatory gun buy-backs.
You are my favorite running joke. https://t.co/pR8mYQ0MZ7

The tired white supremacy myth gets dragged out yet again. The white homicide rate is less than half the national average, but let's not talk about who drags that number upward.

Lol. Know what's on the rise? Black gun ownership. But ok NOW y'all wanna restrict us, huh? Convenient.
All gun control is racist.
And sexist.
And, ultimately, elitist. https://t.co/rS7mw2qFFG

Another redefining of words: "white supremacy" is now anyone on the right which are growing by leaps and bounds (including sizeable numbers of POC, incidentally). https://t.co/43KUHIx0jw

Truth.
“White supremacy and hatred are on the rise” in Biden’s America. (Not to mention inflation). Good tweet.

So mass shootings are somehow profiting gun manufacturers? I think the thing that has actually lined their pockets is you and other Democrats threatening to take guns away. But that’s just what the data says so you all will ignore that same as inflation and Biden’s poll numbers.

Did those House investigators uncover any reason why AR-15 sales have skyrocketed over the past three years? Is there a correlation with the rise in white supremacy? Is that how it works?
