Congressional Black Caucus requests meeting with Sesame Place to discuss 'glaring examples of racism'

As Twitchy reported recently, the Sesame Place theme park in Philadelphia is under fire after a video showing “Rosita” apparently blowing off two black girls went viral.

Sesame Workshop said that it would “conduct bias training and a thorough review of the ways in which they engage families and guests.” We’re not sure what’s happened to whoever was in that Rosita costume … they’re probably in hiding. Oh, and by the way, the attorney for the girls’ mother says unless there is “substantial change” at the park, she may file a lawsuit. We’re not sure what the charge would be.

Now, Mediaite is reporting that the Congressional Black Caucus has become involved and has asked for a meeting with the operators of Sesame Place, officially making it a national incident.

Sesame Place is now in the position of having to prove that it’s not systematically racist, even though it seems to suggest it is by conducting bias training for its employees.

We’d love to see 10 more seconds of video, because the girls were apparently heartbroken. What did they do?
