Even before the Dobbs ruling came down, crisis pregnancy centers and churches were being targeted by vandals and arsonists, some going by the name “Jane’s Revenge.” “If abortion isn’t safe, you’re not safe,” they’d spraypaint on these centers.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren joined in in spirit, tweeting that “it’s more important than ever to crack down on so-called ‘crisis pregnancy centers’ that mislead and deceive patients seeking abortion care” and suggesting she had a bill that would shut them down.
And now there’s adoption that needs demonizing. Mother Jones is on the case with a piece about the cruel abortion industry, and it was passed along by law professor Laurence Tribe:
A frightening but realistic look at the cruel adoption-centered future that awaits far too many of our daughters and sisters, mothers and granddaughters in a world without Roehttps://t.co/Wzc8pnKXyj

Only liberals would find adoption cruel, but ripping a baby from its mother’s is not.
Good God. https://t.co/KyqgqBzesQ

Ok, so let’s just kill the babies instead. What a stupid notion. https://t.co/qxGxZFELP9

Adoption is cruel? But pulling a baby by its head from the womb and tossing it the garbage is just reproductive rights. https://t.co/4VYhpgauw7

Note the ghastly presupposition: It’s better to have never lived than to be born into the projected adoptionpocalypse.
Progressives hate the thought of being unable to play god and find murder the morally superior option to adoption. They also assume a largely fatherless world. https://t.co/W3VgyB7ffk

This is so strange. Gut-wrenching stories of mothers not allowed to see their babies who are put up for adoption inherently means the mothers value the life of their newborns and this is used to justify aborting those longed-for babies? https://t.co/JYbpYvgAJw

"cruel adoption-centered future," said the Very Serious Harvard professor with no sense of irony. https://t.co/SXvF0oU6a5

To be clear, what he means is it’s less cruel to kill them than allow them to be born and adopted. https://t.co/V5COqpGLJv

Let’s just go to the orphanages and slaughter the orphans, then. https://t.co/TjQbquGplO

Let’s face it … it’s just a lot more convenient to kill the baby and pretend like it was never conceived.
