We all know that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez used to be a waitress, but just look where she is now. The same could be said for CNN’s Alisyn Camerota, who was also a waitress, which gives her some background into how gun background checks work. She used to be told to run up the alcohol tab — but then when drunk drivers were killing people, the law changed, and she had to run “background checks” or something on her customers’ sobriety. We think that’s what she’s getting at, but former FBI agent Steve Moore said it’s “a little different.”
