There are plenty of hot takes going around today about gun control, when all it would take to get the GOP on board would be for black people to get guns in this country. Another hot topic is the attempt to murder Justice Brett Kavanaugh by a California man found with a black tactical vest, a knife, a Glock 17 pistol with two magazines and ammunition, pepper spray, zip ties, a hammer, screwdriver, a nail punch, a crowbar, a pistol light, duct tape, hiking boots, and other items. He was apparently so upset by America’s lax gun laws that he purchased a gun explicitly to kill Kavanaugh and then himself.
Maybe one of the reasons the mainstream media is keeping quiet about this story is because of all the time the Left has incited violence. Sen. Chuck Schumer is one of the main offenders, as is Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot. Plenty are retweeting her famous “call to arms” against the Supreme Court Wednesday:
To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community—the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms.

"Call to arms."
Someone was literally just arrested trying to assasinate a #SCOTUS Judge. https://t.co/x5ZwT5iJLc

A call to arms you say?
…sounds kinda insurrectiony and promoting violence against the Judicial branch of our government.
Sounds kinda like she approves of Kavanaugh being attacked.
But she’s a Leftist so our collective media yawns. https://t.co/ion2z94MsU

Inciting violence against SCOTUS. Lock her up. https://t.co/lGl6oG5hxb

If I'm not mistaken, she was told this was incitement from her political opponents. It came to pass. So, Madame Mayor, what say you? https://t.co/Q7nphjOH2M

Hey @twittersupport, in light of the would-be attack on Kavanaugh, shouldn’t you delete this tweet? https://t.co/UFlDRlsNP8

Monthly reminder that Twitter's policy considers misgendering even in satire like @TheBabylonBee to be "violent or hateful speech" but not an actual literal call to arms. https://t.co/zByRir7xoi

A Democrat terrorist showed up at a Supreme Court Justice's home today with a gun to murder him.
This is what Democrat politicians have been saying for a month, they are responsible for inciting this: https://t.co/GOlt1Qpa3M

The "call to arms" was answered and it almost got Justice Kavanaugh killed. Proud of yourself, Lori? @LoriLightfoot @ComfortablySmug https://t.co/kRi31ooAAA

She’s left the tweet up, even though being called out at the time. Again, this is the same Lori Lightfoot who banned protesters from her block, citing her right to keep her home secure.
