Ian Haworth compiles a bunch of companies that didn't add rainbows to their logos in the Middle East

This is something we were thinking of doing, but Ian Haworth has already put together a thread for us. As you’ve no doubt noticed, June 1 marks the start of Pride Month, and corporations around social media have all changed their Twitter and Facebook avatars to include the pride rainbow — heck, the U.S. Marine Corps tweeted a helmet with rainbow-colored rifle rounds. We noted in a previous post how one company seemed to have forgotten to update its logo in the Middle East, and Haworth has compiled a number of major corporations that somehow did the same.

Coca-Cola is one of the most woke corporations out there and is always happy to insert itself into political issues. And what would be the danger of adding the pride rainbow in the Middle East? Oh, that’s right, you might alienate customers there and it could cost you money.

We hope the State Department gets on this right away.
