This Disney+ promo has a drag queen inviting kids to visit and join trans activist organization GLSEN

When this editor first wrote about Drag Queen Story Hour at the library, he thought it was just a one-off thing in Canada. It turns out, though, that Drag Queen Story Hour is a national organization started in San Francisco in 2015 and went global — “DQSH is a global network of local organizations, each of which is independently managed and funded.” And it’s making its way into public schools. But that’s another story.

Watch as “drag artist” Nina West encourages kids to visit GLSEN, which, among other activities, authors “developmentally appropriate resources for educators to use throughout their school community.”
