Cue Bette Midler: Pete Buttigieg says the baby formula shortage is affecting him and Chasten too

As you know, during the height of the supply chain crisis, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg was on leave so he could tend to his new twins with his husband Chasten. Buttigieg has said that the twins are completely dependent on formula, although Bette Midler would suggest they just breastfeed:

The Daily Mail reports that the Buttigiegs have had to get creative:

Pete Buttigieg said the baby formula shortage is affecting him and his husband Chasten as they have had to ‘root around’ and talk to friends out of state to get food for their nine-month old twins.

The transportation secretary said their twins – Penelope Rose and Joseph August Buttigieg – are ‘completely reliant’ on formula.

‘Like millions of Americans we’ve had to root around find different solutions. Spend more time clicking and clicking online – even get in touch with relatives out of state. We’re okay we’ve figured it out at least for now,’ he told Sirius XM.

Maybe he should talk to his boss.

He’s like everyone else in the administration: you’ll get nothing, pay more for it, and be happy.
