We guess it became cool to compare things to 9/11 after the January 6 storming of the Capitol Building. Vice President Kamala Harris, commemorating the first anniversary of the Capitol riots, compared them to both the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the 9/11 terrorist attacks. “Certain dates echo throughout history,” she said, and we’ll all remember where we were and what we were doing when we saw video of the Capitol riots on TV. (Jen Psaki later had to explain how that comparison was apt.) Not surprisingly, MSNBC’s Joy Reid also compared January 6 to September 11.
We’ve moved on, temporarily, to the possible overturning of Roe v. Wade, and Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank warns us that could be “a 9/11 attack on America’s social fabric.”
Roe’s impending reversal is a 9/11 attack on America’s social fabric. My latest column: https://t.co/4QH8eqUJZW

It's impossible to satirize WaPo at this point.

This article is a 9/11 attack on journalism.

You people really like to whip out "9/11" and the pain it caused to the victims like it's nothing

Please delete that headline. It doesn’t help.

Is there anything that isn’t a 9/11 attack to you people?

Love how a ruling that will give all people in their state of residence on both sides the power to vote on a law rather than a panel of political judges is an attack. Unless you feel that voter fraud could impact those laws being determined, but that does not exist, correct???

Brutal ratio. Deserved ratio.

At least it’s not a 1/6 attack 😱

Not being able to kill babies really gets the left worked up
— Chris (@ChrisMears00) May 13, 2022
They’ll still get to kill babies, though maybe not up to the moment of childbirth without restriction nationally as 50 Democrat senators just voted for.
