There’s not much to be said here beyond the headline, but keep in mind one of the biggest fears among liberals is that Elon Musk could reinstate Donald Trump’s Twitter account and he could spread disinformation in the run-up to the 2024 presidential election. One thing is certain: There was nothing “secret” about Trump’s ban from Twitter. But without a hint of irony, MSNBC’s Ari Melber warns that Musk now could “secretly turn down the reach” of one party’s candidate, and we might not even find out about it until after the election. Shocking.
“You could secretly ban one party’s candidate…secretly turn down the reach of their stuff and turn up the reach of something else and the rest of us might not even find out about it until AFTER the election.”

Hmmm… Sounds an awful lot like that @time article about “election fortification”. #ConfessionThroughProjection

Indeed, forgetting that it has been already happening – and now he's complaining that somebody else "could" do it even though they are pushing for free speech instead of controlled speech. Sounds like a bit like the scales are being balanced.

Quick question. Was that guy living under a rock for the last year and a half?

Twitter hired a woman who actually did this to conservatives during the election. That was her job. She was mad when they told her she could stop because the election was over and ‘they’ won. This is on the record.

Unreal. Imagine that the powers behind social media could secretly turn down the reach of someone’s stuff before an election? Crazy.
