As Twitchy reported earlier Monday, the administration’s mask mandate for airlines and public transportation was struck down by a judge who was appointed by President Trump after he’d lost the election, who’s only 35, and was called “not qualified” by the ABA. Did we mention she’s only 35? Enough reporters did. So she’s not even half President Joe Biden’s age and therefore not nearly as wise.
The press isn’t taking it well, and neither is Massachusetts State Rep. Lindsay Sabadosa, who says the judge’s decision should make you “really, really concerned” that the courts are taking power away from the federal government.
Today a federal judge called it overreach for US health officials to require masks on airplanes & other public transit, and no matter how you feel about masks, you should be really, really concerned that the Courts are effectively taking away power from the federal government.

“No matter how you feel about masks.” Yeah, right.
What I'm really, really concerned about is that you appear to be an elected official and yet know less about how our system of government works than my 6th grader. pic.twitter.com/bT65Rkxgd1

I know I’m just a random Canadian but I’m pretty sure that’s not sure how the USA works.

"Progressive Democrat"
Shocking.

You are the prime example of why anyone running for an elected office should be required to take and pass a basic civics exam.

I’m more concerned with the federal govt amassing too much power, being too centralized, and not having their powers checked more regularly.

ANYTHING that takes away power from the federal government is a good thing.
— tom (@tomd44) April 18, 2022
Oh give me a break.
Were you “really concerned” when federal judges in Hawaii and Seattle were issuing national injunctions to block Trump EOs on the border and travel?
I bet not.

You people prove on a daily basis that no one should ever listen to a "progressive Democrat" on anything, because they will just tell you self-serving nonsense. None of you have any morals or sense of fair play. Lying, cheating, manipulating clowns — all of you.

You’re not very well acquainted with the US Constitution are you?
— Tom Martino (@tom_martino1) April 18, 2022
The government was acting unconstitutionally.
The judge ended that.

Less federal government isn’t a bug. It’s a feature. Check out the Bill of Rights some time.
— MoodyRedhead (@moodyredhead) April 18, 2022
Restoring power to the people – that's what you really meant to say, right?
Have you read the Constitution?
— Dryheatwriter (@dryheatwriter) April 18, 2022
You realize federal judges are one third of the federal government, right Lindsay? You do, don't you?
— Aldous Huxley's Ghost™ (@AF632) April 18, 2022
Even if her decision was incorrect, that is not what happened.
— Dog guy (@Catsorange1) April 18, 2022
The point is the federal government has no such powers. Get it?
— Goldens Rule (@jamesbranch3) April 18, 2022
Sabadosa probably has designs on a seat in the House of Representatives so she can wield some of that federal power.
