Sarcasm? Mark Knoller says that Biden's gaffe in Poland tops Ronald Reagan's 'tear down this wall' speech

As Twitchy reported, President Joe Biden was speaking in Poland Saturday when he closed his speech by saying of Vladimir Putin, “For God’s sake this man cannot remain in power!” The White House immediately sprung into cleanup mode and clarified that Biden wasn’t talking about regime change in Russia. “He was not discussing Putin’s power in Russia, or regime change,” said a White House official. This statement, of course, came after Biden told the 82nd Airborne what “you’re going to see when you’re there” in Ukraine.

We hate to say it because former CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller is one of the few true old-school journalists we count on to bring us the news unfiltered. But for some reason, Knoller said that Biden’s line about Putin not being allowed to remain in power topped President Ronald Reagan’s call to Mikhail Gorbachev to “tear down this wall.” That was 1987 and we remember it like it was yesterday.

Seriously, don’t let us down.

Knoller’s one of the few unbiased reporters left; please let this be sarcasm.
